It's difficult for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The greatest achievements have already been conquered.

This is the team that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to six more T20 titles, and once went nearly four years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, targeted by the peak baggers, are what's still available for a team that has won it all.

It needed as late as Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase over 300, regaining their record for the largest in the women's 50-over format, is, frankly, a testament to the pitchers that have represented Australia over five decades.

It's difficult for their batsmen to hold a record if not provided the opportunity.

In the end, the consequence of Australia allowing 330 runs was leader Alyssa Healy getting a chance to create her newest gem.

Initially recognized as the young family member of renowned former Aussie wicketkeeper Ian, she debuted in 2010 after her nation failed to win either of the T20 or ODI World Cups held the previous year and has seen it all through 15 trophy-laden years since.

Many contend the argument supporting championship match pressure. Different voices suggest with the test that comes when pursuing an unprecedented total and an enthusiastic Indian fanbase of 20,000.

What is certain is this century was far harder to predict.

The Christchurch destruction in 2022 occurred when she led the batting statistics, but this performance was preceded by six games in India from the beginning of the previous month in which she had failed to pass 30.

"If you've been watching me in practice sessions, it has been a disappointing period because it seemed I've had no rhythm completely," commented Healy.

"But once you enter the playing area, your fighting spirit kick in and you just lock into the competition."

Healy's competitive nature has always been her major advantage - and a priceless quality in replacing legendary former captain Meg Lanning.

She was challenged by India's emerging talent Kranti Gaud in the previous month's ODI series, out to the 22-year-old seamer in every game, but here that only provided Healy's inspiration.

One run resulted off the bowler's initial ball and from there the batsman was underway.

"The possibility to go out there and engage in competition with her and simply enjoy myself in that regard, somewhat inspired me," stated Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 pitches - her quickest at a World Cup - and her century in 84 as she attacked short-pitched balls, hitting 21 fours and three maximums.

Once she was dismissed Australia needed 66 more at run per delivery - an unconquered height now needing a comfortable finish.

"Chasing 330 runs is uncharted waters so I'm pleased we have the assurance to achieve that now," added Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to repeat it but, if necessary, we are confident we can achieve it."

These statements will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this tournament should hear.

During the last week a belief they will triumph from any situation has only strengthened - this victory following win against Pakistan by 107 run margin despite sitting at 76-7 at one point.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with traditional opponents England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a last-four spot may probably be guaranteed.

It was at that stage they were eliminated from last year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - a game Healy was absent due to torn tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the initial instance at a significant event.

So strong is her resolve, she subsequently stated she wished she had played with the discomfort.

Yet even as she subsequently acknowledged those fitness problems have pushed back consideration of ending her career, this championship is likely to be her final tournament as skipper in ODI cricket and she is hasn't yet secured a global event as captain.
