The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
